It is not only critical to human survival and health, but it also plays a crucial role in agriculture, industry, energy, and the environment. However, and despite its incalculable value, millions of people around the world still lack access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation services.<\/p>\n<p>The Deretil Group is aware that it carries out its daily activity in an area of high-water stress and, therefore, promotes the rational use of this resource, developing desalination infrastructures and recirculating process streams, to minimise the consumption of fresh water in its factory in Villaricos.<\/p>\n<p>The Deretil Group has appropriate measurement systems that provide detailed knowledge of the main sources of consumption, by monitoring and detecting deviations and applying corrective actions.
